September 20th, 2012 Forecast

Tonight: A cool night with mostly clear skies. Lows will drop to around 55 in Philadelphia but into the mid 40s in the coolest suburbs north and west of the city. Winds will be out of the north at 5 to 10 mph. The sunset tonight is at 7:02 PM.

Thursday: Mostly sunny and beautiful. High in the mid 70s. Northeast winds will shift from the south in the afternoon at 5 to 10 mph.

Friday: Mostly sunny and warmer. High near 80.

Saturday: Mostly sunny and warm for the first day of fall. High in the mid 80s. The autumnal equinox is at 10:49 AM. Depending on the timing of a cold front, we could see some showers overnight Saturday night, giving way to a cool and dry day on Sunday. Otherwise, we'll see an early high in the mid to upper 70s on Sunday with showers and falling temperatures during the day if the front comes through a bit later.
