September 21st, 2012 Forecast

Another cool and comfortable night on tap under partly cloudy skies.  Winds will remain light out of the southeast at 5 to 10 mph and temperatures will remain in the mid- to upper 50's.  Temperatures rebound nicely tomorrow skyrocketing through the 60's and into the upper 70's to near 80-degrees.  Winds will be light out of the southeast under mostly sunny skies.  Friday night football games look clear as well, and my Friday Night Lights forecast will be up this evening.

Saturday starts off partly sunny and nice.  If you have any plans during the day, you should be okay up into most of the afternoon.  A cold front, or rather a "cool front" will start to move in, giving us a chance of showers and thunderstorms.  The Storm Prediction Center has placed the area under a slight risk, with the big threat being strong winds.  These thunderstorms will persist throughout the region from late afternoon into the overnight.  Don't forget, Saturday is also the first day of Fall, although we've been experiencing fall-like weather for a little while now.

Sunday, any lingering shower or storm will quickly move out and will give way to partly sunny skies, with temperatures almost 10-degrees cooler.  Monday, cooler weather still moves in, with some locations not being able to get out of the 60's.  Monday through Wednesday looks like a great stretch of weather.  Tuesday, highs will bump up into the lower to mid-70's under mostly sunny skies.  Wednesday, much of the same as Tuesday.  We start to see some changes again on Thursday, when we'll see increasing clouds and the possibility of some rain.
