September 28th, 2012 Forecast

Tonight, the chance of showers and thunderstorms persist, after a lull for much of the day Thursday.  This evening will continue mostly cloudy, with scattered showers.  Heavier, more steady showers and thunderstorms are possible in the early morning hours.  Lows tonight around the city will be in the mid-60's, closer to the lower 60's to the north and west.  Winds will be mostly calm start out the evening, then generally southeast around 5 mph.  Tomorrow, the heavier precipitation will start to move out around the morning rush, with the chance of rain decreasing throughout the day.  High will be in the mid 70's closer to the metro.  Under mostly cloudy skies, temperatures around the region still will sit in the lower to mid-70s.  Winds will remain out of the southeast at 5 to 10 mph.

Until the start of the new work week, things will remain unsettled.  A majority of Saturday will be mostly cloudy, but pretty much dry.  Showers will start to move into the area in the late afternoon through the evening.  Highs will drop to around 70-degrees, lows in the lower 50's.  Sunday will feature scattered showers throughout the day and just generally unsettled.  High still remaining in the lower-70s.  Monday, showers will persist through the morning, then clearing to partly cloudy skies by the evening.  Tuesday looks dry under partly sunny skies and warmer.  Temperatures start bumping up into the mid-70 for Tuesday, and continuing into Thursday.  Wednesday looks like another dry and pleasant day, before showers possible return for Thursday.
