Sunny with afternoon increasing clouds

Temperatures as of 7am are chilly with many locations outside of the city in the mid to upper 40's.  There are even a few spots in rural Northeast PA/Northwest NJ barely above 40 degrees.  Skies are clear and we'll see one more nice day before a wet and wild day on Tuesday.

There is a deep trough that is digging southward from Canada into the Midwest.  An area of low-pressure will be developing ahead of it over the Gulf Coast States and will move Northeast towards our area for tomorrow.  It will bring lots of rain and the threat of severe thunderstorms.  Nothing to worry about today as well see lots of sunshine through the morning hours.  Into the afternoon, high clouds will develop and these will gradually lower and thicken towards evening.  The earliest chance of any precipitation would be near midnight and that would be mainly for southernmost areas.

Temperatures will top out in the middle 70's today north of the city, with upper 70's in the city and points south...with winds north early, becoming east around 5-10 mph.  Enjoy today before the rain moves in for tomorrow.
