A warm start this morning as a decent southwesterly flow from an approaching low-pressure system from the west has kept temperatures pretty steady during the overnight hours. Temperatures are in the low to mid 60's for most areas, with a few spots furthest north in the upper 50's. Lots of clouds and showers will be in the forecast today. The morning hours will be drier as most of the rain will not arrive until after noontime. So it will be a wet commute on your way home from work. A thunderstorm is also possible for mainly southern areas in Delaware.
Winds from the southwest this morning at around 10 mph will turn to the west this afternoon and eventually northwest during the evening hours as a cold front moves through the region, bringing in cooler air. Things will clear out during the overnight hours and we'll see a much nicer day tomorrow.
