Mild, Perhaps A Shower Today

Temperatures are mild around the region early this morning -- in the 50's in many spots, even some 60's down to our south.  A few showers crossed the region last night and a few more are on radar early this morning across Western Pennsylvania.  Those showers are moving east and should cross parts of the region (mostly north) later on today.

A weak front is sliding down from the north today and will cross the region.  This will nudge the winds around in many areas to the north or northeast but regardless of wind direction speeds will be quite light through the course of the day.  This front will help enhance low level moisture in the atmosphere and has helped in the formation of locally dense fog in Central and Northeast PA early this morning.  We might see some fog for a time in the Lehigh Valley or Berks County this will be a more widespread feature tonight and tomorrow.

For today though, skies will vary in cloud cover -- probably a little more sunshine than yesterday and we should be a couple of degrees milder in the city and points south than yesterday.  We're looking at mid 70's for high temperatures in Philadelphia but it will likely be a bit cooler to the north of the city (60's).  It might hit 80 for Dover and points south this afternoon as well.  Yesterday featured a 15 degree spread between Allentown and AC -- we might not see that much spread today but we will see a variation in temperature from north to south.
