October 24th, 2012 Forecast
Our milder regime continues across the region ahead of a weak front that will push through tomorrow. A few showers will pass through northern sections of the region later tonight...maybe a sprinkle extends down to Philadelphia but by and large it should be a dry evening and overnight for the city and points south.
It will also be a mild evening as lows will be in the 50's outside of the city, around 60 in Philadelphia...and perhaps in the lower 60's south of the city along the coast.
Wednesday will continue the mild streak across the region -- clouds and sun ahead of the weak front as it crosses the region. There could be a shower or two possible with it but odds favor a dry day for the majority of the region. Cloud cover may be a bit more generous than earlier thought -- the result is a slightly cooler forecast for tomorrow than suggested before...70's for the region look much more likely as winds nudge around to the northwest inland, northeast at the Shore, post-front.
The front's impact is relatively weak as it washes out to our south. We should remain mild for Thursday and Friday although clouds may dominate the majority of both days...temperatures should nudge 70 in the city (at least as of now), a few degrees above average for this time of the year.
