Sunny Start; Clouds developing late

A cool start this morning as temperatures across the region range from the lower 40's in northern and most rural areas to the upper 40's southern areas and close to the city.  Some places are seeing patchy fog this morning, but this should burn off very quickly, mainly by 9-10am.

High pressure over the region today will provide lots of sunshine.  But by the late afternoon hours and especially by evening, clouds will begin to increase from south to north.  A fairly deep trough is beginning to develop over the central US.  This will continue to amplify and slowly move east over the next few days.  A low-pressure system will develop ahead of it, in addition to a strong southerly flow will help to provide some rain over the next two days.

Temperatures today will top out in the upper 60's to lower 70's.
