The rain bands from "Superstorm Sandy" will continue to move through today, but as the storm moves off toward the north, the rain will not be nearly as heavy as yesterday. However, the winds will still be very strong, gusting as high as 65 mph, especially this morning.
Overall, today will feature rain on and off with cool temperatures, peaking around 50 degrees this afternoon. The winds will be strongest this morning and could subside a bit as we move through the day. The main difference in wind is that yesterday featured a north to northeast wind whereas today will feature a south wind.
Hang in there...the weather will gradually improve as we move through the week.
