Sandy is finally getting far enough out of our region where her remnants aren't too big of a deal anymore. We'll still be left with mostly cloudy skies today, but it appears that there will be some breaks in those clouds allowing for a little bit of sun.
I can't rule out a spotty shower north and west of Philadelphia, but the chance of seeing a shower up there is very slim. I think the majority of the area will end up dry today. Temperatures will be about 6 degrees below normal, and there isn't much of a warm up in sight. It will certainly feel like November for the near term.
The biggest story today will probably be the cool breeze. Winds will be 10 to 20 mph out of the west-southwest, becoming more westerly late in the day. Even though we should hit 55 for a high, the wind may make it feel more like the upper 40s to near 50.
Be sure to check in with us later for part two of our winter forecast ! The final part, the forecast itself, will be out tomorrow.
