As of 7am, temperatures range in the area from the upper 20's to lower 30's. It will be a nice but cold day with a mix of clouds and sunshine. There will be a light breeze from the west today. High temperatures will be slightly warmer than yesterday, getting into the middle 40's.
A large polar vortex covering all of central and eastern Canada
continues to dominant and provide the cold and unseasonably conditions. A shortwave along the southern periphery of the vortex will help to develop a weak storm system that will approach the area from the west and bring the chance of some rain and snow for early tomorrow. This is not a big system by any means, mainly a nuisance. Some light accumulations are possible, mainly north and west of the city.
