Continuing Milder Streak

Temperatures are crisp out there this morning to start the weekend -- 30's for many, some 20's in South Jersey where radiational cooling took hold overnight thanks to skies remaining clearer overnight to our east and southeast.  Clouds are increasing overhead this morning as milder air nudges in from the west -- these warm air advection clouds are also accompanied by some showers as a bit of energy travels east through the area.  The showers are in Central PA as of 6 AM and are pushing southeast -- we could see a few sprinkles or perhaps a shower cross the region between 8 and 11 AM.

Once these showers nudge through, skies will end up featuring a mix of clouds and sun for the duration of the day.  With milder air nudging in aloft and at the surface thanks to a weak southerly flow, temperatures this afternoon will get into the upper 50's in much of the region.  Philly's projected high is 59 -- we might see a couple of low 60's along I-95 before day's end.

The boring weather continues through Monday as the pattern is relaxing aloft and becoming more zonal and less amplified.  Temperatures will continue their warming ways the next couple of days!
