December 1st, 2012 Forecast

Hard to believe it's December already.  Tonight, on the eve of December, we'll see clouds slowly on the increase.  This blanket will act as a insulator, helping to keep temperatures warmer than we have been the past few nights.  We'll get down to the mid-30's pretty much all across the board, with the exception of to the the extreme south and east portions, were they could only get into the upper 30's.  There will be a light northeasterly wind, only around 5 mph.  Saturday looks nice and pleasant.  Most of those clouds burn off and we're left with partly sunny skies and it'll certainly feel warmer out.  Temperatures getting up into the lower 50's around the metro, hovering around the 50-degree mark to the north and wast and up into the mid-50's to the south and east.  The light wind will continue, with a flow of out the east at 5 mph.

The rest of the week looks pretty tranquil  with a few little hiccups.  Sunday looks okay on the dayside. Skies will slowly cloud up and it will be noticeably breezier.  There is a slight chance of a shower or two in the late evening and overnight hours, but I don't think it's anything to cancel plans over.  Temperatures again on Sunday bump up, into the mid- to upper 50's.  And they don't stop there!  Monday, the showers move out and the clouds will follow suit, leaving up with a partly to mostly sunny day.  Temperatures, again, are given a boost, this time cracking the 60-degree mark and pushing us into the lower 60's.  Lower 60-degree temperatures stick around for Tuesday.  Tuesday will be our transition day, with more clouds building and the chance of showers.  Wednesday, we'll drop back into the 50's under partly cloudy skies.  After that, the rest of the week looks pretty calm.  Thursday look much cooler, with highs only reaching into the mid-40's under partly cloudy skies and Friday, temperatures bump back up into the lower 50's with sun and clouds.
