We're starting off in the 30's in many spots this morning with variably cloudy skies around the region. It's going to be a blustery start to today with west and northwest winds occasionally gusting over 20 mph through midday. As high pressure briefly builds overhead, we should see those winds diminish a bit later on this afternoon but the theme today will be for breezy conditions for much of the day.
While it will be cooler than our flirtation with 60 degrees, the city and points south should get to 50 this afternoon. Upper 40's will be common north and northwest of the city for highs. All of these temperatures are still a few to several degrees above average for this time of the year. Wednesday night and early Thursday should be relatively calm as we get in between yesterday's storm system and the one that moves through on Thursday night and the predawn hours on Friday.
