December 13th, 2012 Forecast

Today's quiet weather continues through the balance of the week before the first of a couple of storm systems moves in on Sunday with showers.  Some of the rain on Sunday could be icy in the Poconos or Central Pennsylvania mountains but temperatures will be mild enough around the city to support rain not freezing on roads and walks.  We'll fine tune those details through the balance of the week...until then, quiet and boring, with slightly milder than average December weather continuing.

Skies, from their high deck of cirrus clouds that dominated the region today, will gradually clear off overnight.  Lows will range from 27 in the coldest locales to 32 in the city with light winds.

Thursday's weather is a general repeat of today but with a bit more sunshine.  We should get into the upper 40's by day's end with light and variable winds around.
