Increasing Clouds

Its a cold start this morning.  Temperatures as of 7am are in the lower to middle 20's across the region.  Skies are clear for now, but that will change as clouds will be on the increase later this morning and during the afternoon hours.  A weak low-pressure area will be moving into region this evening and during the overnight hours.  It will bring some light precipitation.  Precipitation will start in the form of snow north and west of the city where Winter Weather Advisories are in place for some counties farther north towards the Lehigh Valley.  In the city and points south, there may be some sleet at the start, but it will quickly changeover to rain.  And with temperatures above freezing, this won't be a big deal.

There will be a light breeze out of the northeast.  Temperatures will reach the upper 30's to lower 40's, but far northern sections will mainly stay in the mid 30's.  Christmas day looks nice with sunny skies and seasonal temps, before the next system moves in for Wednesday and Thursday.
