Yesterday's 50+ degree weather for Philly and points south was a nice mild tease ahead of a weak cool front that crossed the region during the early afternoon hours with a brief, passing shower. Temperatures today will still be mild by January standards but not as mild as we were yesterday as the cool front that moved through as nudged winds around to the north and northeast today, resulting in a slightly cooler nudge of air pushing down from New England.
Today will be a bit brighter to start but clouds will gradually spread in during the afternoon hours. Probably not enough to ruin the day but enough to provide a pretty sunset around the region.
Highs today will be in the mid and upper 40's for many, with some low 50's in Delaware and Interior South Jersey. Still a few degrees above average but not quite as mild as yesterday.
