January 8th, 2013 Forecast

A mostly clear night is expected tonight, leading to temperatures dropping rather quickly once the sun sets at 4:53 PM.  Lows should bottom out near 30 in Philadelphia and in the mid 20s in the suburbs.  Winds will be out of the south-southwest less than 10 mph.

Tuesday looks to be a beautiful day with mostly sunny skies.  In Philadelphia and points south/east, high temperatures should reach the low 50s.  In the Lehigh Valley, you'll likely hold in the mid 40s.  Winds will be from the southwest at 5 to 15 mph, pumping that milder air into the Delaware Valey.

Two more nice days are expected Wednesday and Thursday before a storm system brings us on and off showers by Friday.  The showers will clear out by the weekend, leading to absolutely superb January weather.  Sunday could very will be 60+ degrees out ahead of our next cold front, scheduled to arrive Sunday night.  Cooler weather will follow after an early morning high on Monday.
