Cloudy/Light Snow PM
We have mostly cloudy skies in the wake of last night's clipper event that put down a coating to 2" of snow across the region. Temperatures as of 7am are in the teens north and west of the city to the middle 20's in the city and points south and east. With a deep trough in place and small emdded disturbances passing through, we'll see another chance for a period of light snow or snow showers this afternoon. We're not expecting much but a general dusting to a coating could fall. With mostly cloudy skies throughout the day, temperatures will not rise all that much, although they will be a bit warmer than yesterday.
Calm winds this morning will become west around 5mph this afternoon. Highs should be around freezing in the city and points south and east, whereas they will remain in the 20's north and west. Things should begin to clear out tonight as today's weak system moves out and develops offshore. Sunshine returns for tomorrow.
