February 20th, 2013 Forecast

There may still be some rain showers around the area this evening, but they will gradually move eastward and off the coast.  It'll be a breezy night with temperatures turning cooler after midnight.  Lows will be near 30 degrees with winds shifting from the west-northwest at 10 to 20 mph.

Wednesday will feature a mix of sun and clouds, but the winds will be the big story, perhaps gusting to 40 mph at times.  It'll be colder than today with a high 35-40 thanks to that brisk west-northwest wind locking in the colder air.

High pressure will bring us sunny skies on Thursday before a series of storm systems have the potential to impact our weather.  We'll just call it rain and snow showers possible for Friday through Sunday due to the uncertainty with this weather pattern.  Temperatures will probably need to be adjusted too as we receive new model runs, and that will ultimately affect the precipitation type.  Stay tuned for updates.
