February 2nd, 2013 Forecast
This evening, skies will continue to be mostly clear but still breezy at times. Lows flirting with the 20-degree mark around the metro and to the south and east, old in the mid- to upper teens to the north and west. Winds will still be blowing at 5 to 15 mph, with gusts to 25 mph possible, all out of the west. Tomorrow, clouds will be on the increase with snow possible late. Highs will be in the upper 20's to lower 30's throughout the region. Winds will finally have calmed down, out of the west at 5 to 10 mph.
Sunday, snow showers will continue into the early afternoon hours, then move off leaving us with mostly cloudy skies. Temperatures still in the mid- to upper 30's. Monday looks dry and slightly cooler, with mostly sunny skies and highs in the lower to mid-30's. Tuesday, the next clipper system moves in, bringing a chance of rain and snow showers. High's will be in the mid-30's, so I expect a change over to rain. Wednesday, we clear out nicely behind the system to mostly sunny skies and temperatures flirting with the 40-degree mark. Thursday looks nice as well, with abundant sunshine and highs into the lower 40's. Friday, yet another chance of showers, but with temperatures in the 40's, I see these more as rain showers than snow.
