There are still some rain showers falling north and east of Philadelphia this morning. Elsewhere, there is some fog and drizzle. Temperatures have risen into the mid 40s overnight in the city and most areas are currently between 40 and 45.
Rain showers will end over the next couple of hours for the northern areas. By noon, the sun should be breaking through the clouds (see the 4 km NAM's depiction above), and temperatures will respond nicely. Philly should top out near 55 degrees by the end of the afternoon. North and west of the city will hold around 50, but it'll still be a nice afternoon. South and east of the city will rise into the mid or perhaps upper 50s.
There will be a bit of a breeze around for most of the day. Southeast winds this morning will shift from the west this afternoon, sustained at 10 to 20 mph. Overall, it will be a pleasant late February day once we get the sun out this afternoon.
