Today features the second of a parade of clippers over the next several days as our more active pattern continues. Skies will gradually trend cloudy through the day, with flurries and snow showers possible later this afternoon to our west as the next disturbance approaches the region. Snow showers will cross the region this evening and tonight, spreading a general inch or two across many locations but some spots will see more than that. We'll pin down the specific details later this morning.
Temperatures this afternoon will only get to around 30 in the city, with 20's likely north and northwest of Philadelphia. Winds, thankfully, will be a notch lower than yesterday (generally in the 7-14 mph range). The resulting wind chill values will be a bit lower than yesterday so the "nasty" factor won't be as bad as yesterday afternoon. That said, we will be several degrees below average again.
