Squeak Past 50

The calm before another coating?  It'll be a nice but increasingly cloudy day around the region today as a cold front approaches the region from the west.  A mild push of air out ahead of the front will send daytime temperatures out towards 50 degrees in the city and into the lower 50's south of town before day's end under a sky that starts variably cloudy but becomes mainly cloudy later this afternoon.  There will be some intervals of sunshine thrown in with those clouds.

Snow showers, perhaps starting briefly as rain south of the city, move in overnight tonight and early Saturday, with a second round possible Saturday afternoon.  This disturbance rides along the passing cold front and will usher in a colder air mass for the Delaware Valley over the three day weekend.  Highs this weekend will likely be in the 30's with lows on Sunday night perhaps dropping into the teens in the city.

Enjoy the mild weather before a brief shot of wintry reality returns!
