It's a cold start to the day with temperatures in the 20s to around 30. We'll start with sunshine today, but a weak disturbance will be approaching this afternoon and increase our cloud cover, especially late in the day. By noon, temperatures will rise into the upper 30s north and west of the city, into the low 40s in the city, and into the mid 40s south and east.
It will be a chilly afternoon with temperatures only reaching a high in the mid/upper 40s in the city, but it will be even colder north and west. On top of the chilly temperatures will be a brisk wind out of the west at 10 to 20 mph, gusting to 30 mph, holding wind chills in the 30s all day.
A snow shower or two will be possible tonight or Thursday, especially east of Philadelphia and at the Shore points. Coating type accumulations will be possible with this.
