March 20th, 2013 Forecast

This afternoon's mildness will be quickly exiting tonight as colder air works into the region from the west.  Winds will kick up out of the west at 10 to 20 mph, and low temperatures will drop into the mid or upper 20s for areas north and west of the city.  Philly will hold near 30 degrees, but it'll feel like it's closer to 20 with the wind.

We'll start with sunshine on Wednesday, but a weak disturbance will be approaching in the afternoon and increase our cloud cover.  It will be a chilly and breezy day with highs in the mid 40s in the city but colder north and west.  Winds will still be brisk out of the west at 10 to 20 mph, holding wind chills in the 30s all day.

The cold temperatures will stick around for the next week or so.  Thursday will struggle to even reach 40 degrees, and snow showers are possible east of Philadelphia, especially at the Shore points.  Accumulations will probably be no more than a coating.  The weekend stays chilly and breezy with highs 45 to 50.
