March 21st, 2013 Forecast

A reinforced shot of chill is going to cross the region tonight, bringing a couple of areas of snow showers to the region after sunset.  While not everyone will get snow showers, a few lucky individuals may get a coating of snow on cars or grassy surfaces.  The best chances of this appear to be in New Jersey but snow showers may fire up in time to get Philadelphia and western suburban areas some flakes later on this evening.

The reinforced shot of chill will deliver a crisp Thursday to the region -- northwest breezes could reach 20 mph sustained, gust to 30 mph, with temperatures tomorrow afternoon running between 10 and 15 degrees below average.

Tonight's lows drop between 25 northwest and 31 along the coast, with highs on Thursday between the mid 30's in coldest of northwestern areas to the lower 40's in Philadelphia and points southeast. Add those gusty breezes to the mix and you can subtract a few degrees for added wind chill.  Needless to say, it will feel more like February again tomorrow around the region.
