March 30th, 2013 Forecast
For your Good Friday evening, skies will remain partly cloudy with temperatures not dipping as far as the past few nights. Temperatures will remain in the mid-30's around the city and to the south and east, and into the lower 30's to the north and west. Winds will also remain calm, around 5 mph. Tomorrow, a great spring day to maybe open the windows and let some fresh air in. Mostly sunny skies and warmer temperatures will have the kids itching to get outdoors. Temperatures in the mid- to upper 50's throughout the area. Winds tomorrow will remain out of the northwest at 50 to 10 mph.
Our pattern changes on Easter. I still like the timeline I laid out yesterday. If you're doing an outdoor Easter Egg Hunt or anything else, try to push that up to the beginning of the afternoon. By 2pm, we'll see those showers moving in and persisting into the overnight. It'll be mild again, so a light jacket is only needed. Monday, we'll see highs in the lower 60's but with scattered shower chances all day, making for a soggy start to the workweek. Tuesday, the rain tapers off by the afternoon but we'll also see the temperatures down from the previous few days as well. Highs only reaching into the upper 40's and still partly to mostly cloudy skies. Wednesday, we clear out nicely to mostly sunny skies and temperatures starting to rebound again. Thursday and Friday look nearly identical, with temperatures in the mid-50's under partly cloudy skies.
Looking ahead, we have a warm-up on the way, and dare I say, temperatures into the 70's in a few weeks?! Quite possibly... So that gives us something to look forward too!
