March 9th, 2013 Forecast

After some rather persistent snow showers, we'll enjoy seeing this large storm finally moving off and further out to sea.  Clouds will be on the decrease, as well as the winds with temperatures in the upper 20's to lower 30's around the area.  Winds will still be out of the north at 5 to 15 mph.  Tomorrow will be mostly sunny and feeling warmer, with the sun at a more direct angle in the sky.  Temperatures getting up into the mid-50 around the metro and to the south and east and even into the lower 50's to the north and west.  Winds will still stay out of the north at 5 to 10 mph.

By Sunday, temperatures will be in the mid- to upper 50's, giving the latter half of the weekend a definite springlike feel to it.  Monday will see temperatures top out around 60-degrees, but with increasing clouds and the chance for some rain showers moving in towards the evening.  Showers stick around for Tuesday, with mostly cloudy skies and temperatures, still warm, in the mid-50's.  Wednesday will be a day of clearing, with the best chance of some sun in the evening.  The clouds will hold the temperatures down, in the lower 50's in most areas.  Thursday and Friday look like the same day, weatherwise, with a few clouds and high temperatures in the upper 40's.
