Snow Showers In Spots To Start

A weak piece of energy is going to be moving up the coast today and it may spawn a few more snow showers over the morning and into the midday hours.  As of 4 AM, snow showers are falling mostly to the west of the city but that axis of snow shower activity will push east through the day today, with mostly cloudy or variably cloudy skies ruling the region when it is not snow showering in your locale.

It is going to be a downright cold day by March standards.  High temperatures will struggle to reach the low 40s this afternoon in the city and won't even reach 40 in the north and west suburbs.  Winds will be gusty again, up to 30 mph out of the northwest, knocking wind chills back several degrees.  If you are a fan of the cold in March, today is for you.
