Winter Weather Advisories Lehigh Valley, Berks, and Poconos

With tomorrow's storm system moving in with the prospect for some snow and ice to the city's north and northwest, Winter Weather Advisories have been issued for the Lehigh Valley, Poconos, Berks County, and Central Pennsylvania for Monday afternoon through 8 AM Tuesday.

The National Weather Service is predicting two to four inches of snow, plus some ice and sleet accrual, for the Poconos, with an inch or two in the Lehigh Valley.  This is similar to our thinking although we can see up to five inches of snow in the higher elevations of the Poconos tomorrow and tomorrow evening.

While we are not under any sort of advisory at this point but snow is still possible, especially along and northwest of I-295, tomorrow afternoon into the evening hours.
