April 5th, 2013 Forecast

We do see warmer weather on the horizon, but unfortunately it comes with some rain, including this evening.  Tonight, clouds will be on the increase with showers moving in from southwest to northeast.  Showers will mainly be stronger across South Jersey but a few sprinkles could make it up to the Lehigh Valley.  Lows tonight in the mid- to upper 30's with winds from the southwest at 5 to 10 mph.  Tomorrow, showers will persist through the morning rush hour but by then, it'll be tapering off.  Skies will gradually clear for the remainder of the day.  It'll also be warmer, with temperatures around the metro and to the south and east around 60-degrees, and in the upper 50's to the north and west.  Winds tomorrow from the north at 5 to 15 mph.

For the upcoming weekend, Saturday looks mostly sunny and but cooler, with temperatures in the mid-50's.  Sunday, highs skyrocket into the mid-60's under partly sunny skies however, clouds will be on the increase late.  By the start of the next workweek, temperatures are (finally) up near 70-degrees.  Monday will also be the start of an extended unsettled period, with a chance of showers until the end of the week.  Tuesday, we pop into the lower 70's, again with a chance of showers but a few breaks of sun too.  Wednesday and Thursday look very similar, with highs in the lower to mid-60's and lows in the lower 50's and an ever-present threat of showers.
