Blustery And Cooler

Yesterday's 64 degree high in Philadelphia will be a cool memory as colder air has pushed into the Delaware Valley on a gusty west and northwest wind.  Temperatures will be around 15 degrees cooler this afternoon in the Delaware Valley with a mix of sunshine and cloud cover.  Yep, clouds will increase through the morning hours, leaving the afternoon under a mix of cold air stratocumulus with occasional glimpses of sunshine.  There will likely be more clouds north, a bit more sunshine south, but on the whole everyone gets a mix of sunshine and cloud cover through the course of the day.

Temperatures this afternoon range from the mid 40's in the Lehigh Valley to the lower 50's in South Jersey and Delaware. However, with gusty winds from the west at 14-22 mph, with gusts to 30 or 35 mph, it will feel a bit cooler out there, arguably like early March instead of early April.  There could be a sprinkle or graupel shower north of the city but the region should be far more dry than not.  This combination of breeze and very low dew point values will result in really dry brush and grass conditions, meaning the potential for a grass or brush fire or two later on today in rural areas.
