Sun Gradually Dims Behind Clouds In Areas

Its a frosty, cold morning to start the work week.  Temperatures as of 7am are below freezing in some locations, mainly in interior New Jersey and Northeastern PA.  All other areas are in the middle 30's.  As the sun comes up, temperatures will quickly rise.  Another Mostly Sunny day is on tap as high pressure dominates.  The area of High Pressure, situated over Southeastern Canada and Northern New England will provide an easterly flow off the ocean, giving a light breeze out of the East.  This will help to keep temperatures a few degrees cooler along the shore points.

Highs today will reach the middle 50's for most locations inland.  Some spots along I-95 could reach the upper 50's.  While there will be a lot of sunshine, this will mainly be for inland areas, especially in PA.  For coastal areas, with the easterly flow, clouds will increase in the afternoon and perhaps may become overcast.  We'll have to see how far inland the clouds make it, but even areas closer to the city could see some increased cloud cover as well.
