Forecast for Sunday, April 21, 2013

Patchy frost and patchy areas of freezing temperatures are possible early on Sunday Morning, outside of the urbanized areas and away from the ocean. With winds of 10 to 20 MPH, it won’t be the most ideal conditions for the development of frost. But there might be a small window where the winds level off just before sunrise. Freezing temperatures are a greater threat, although temperatures won’t be dropping quickly with a breeze persisting.

Sunday and Monday look to be mostly sunny with perhaps just a few clouds developing each afternoon with the peak of daytime heating. An oceanic flow and an approaching cold front likely will provide for a showery period of weather Tuesday and Wednesday with areas of fog. Thursday and Friday look to be mostly sunny with high pressure moving back in. The weekend may turn unsettled again, although the models are not in agreement on the arrival of the next storm system.
