May 1st, 2013 Forecast

Temperatures will be on the cool side tonight, especially in some of the suburbs.  We'll drop into the mid 40s in the city, but the Lehigh Valley could be in the upper 30s by daybreak.  Skies will feature a mix of clouds and stars.

We'll enjoy a milder day on Wednesday with a mix of sun and clouds.  Highs should touch 70 in the city with most of the suburbs reaching the upper 60s.  The exception will be the Shore where an east-northeast wind off the ocean will hold temperatures between 55 and 60.

For the end of the week, an "omega block" will set up over the East Coast, locking high pressure in place over our region.  It will be near perfect May weather around here for several days in a row, so you'll want to get outside and enjoy it if you can!
