Mostly Cloudy. Some Lgt. Rain Southern Areas

Temperatures vary across the region this morning.  As of 7am, temperatures are in the middle 50's in Delaware and in the mid to upper 40's mostly elsewhere.  There are a few spots in northern most areas where temperatures are down into the upper 30's.

As weak upper-level disturbance will be passing south of the area today.  Currently, there is some light rain to our south over Washington, D.C., Maryland and southern Delaware.  Some of this precipitation could make it into southern areas through the morning and early afternoon hours.  Its pretty dry at upper-levels of the atmosphere, so its going to take some time for things to moisten up.  If any rain does fall, it would be mainly over Delaware and Southern New Jersey. Most of the area will just see clouds.

A mainly overcast sky will dominate today.  But as you travel north of the city, there could be a few peaks of sunshine, especially as we get into the afternoon. As the system moves away this evening, most areas will see the clouds begin to decrease.

High temperatures today will reach around 60 degrees in the city and for most locations around it, perhaps holding in the 50's at the Shore.  Winds will be off the ocean out of the east.  Conditions will improve for tomorrow and we'll see a lot more sunshine.
