Cloudy and Cool. Some Sun North/Shower possible South

Temperatures are in the upper 40's from the city and points south and east.  They drop off to the lower 40's as you head toward Northern PA and the Poconos.  Overcast skies prevail across much of the region, especially from the city and points south.  An upper-level low pressure system, closed off the from the Jet Stream is over central Tennessee this morning.  It has been slowly moving east from the Central U.S. the past several days.  It will continue to move slowly northeast towards our region over the next few days.  We'll see some rain out of it tomorrow and Wednesday, but for today, we'll stay dry with just overcast skies.

Its possible towards afternoon and evening, that areas in Delaware could see a shower or two as the precipitation from that system begins to move towards our area.   For northern areas, you will see some sunshine today as there will be some breaks and less clouds up there.

It will remain quite cool for this time of year.  Temperatures though will actually be warmer from north to south, since those areas will see some sunshine.  High temperatures will be in the middle 60's north of the ciy, around 60 in the city and surrounding suburbs and in the middle to upper 50's close to the coast.
