Yesterday's rains have ended and drier air is moving in. A cold front is currently moving through the region. It has already moved through most of the area and about to move offshore. Clouds still linger, especially over New Jersey and Delaware. But as the cold front continues to move away, these will decrease through the morning hours and we'll be left with lots of sunshine for the much of the day. Winds will also increase from the Northwest leaving a breezy day.
Temperatures currently in the mid to upper 50's across the region will warm slightly throughout the day as cooler air moves in. Highs will top out in the lower to middle 60's.
The air mass behind this front is quite cool and impressive for this time of year. The heart of this cool air will really begin to makes its presence starting tonight. It will feel quite chilly tomorrow and Tuesday and large portion of the area could see some frost overnight Monday.
