Dr. Jon Nese To Speak At University of Delaware On Monday
The University of Delaware Chapter of the American Meteorological Society is hosting Dr. Jon Nese on Monday evening from 5-6:30 PM at the University of Delaware in Newark. Dr. Nese, who is a professor at Penn State University and works with the Weather World program on PCN, will be presenting a seminar on weather presentations done in a minute, ten minutes, or an hour.
Nese was the chief meteorologist at The Franklin Institute from 1998 to 2002 and helped co-write The Philadelphia Area Weather Book with Hurricane Schwartz. Nese also worked at The Weather Channel for a time as well.
It is open to the greater weather community. If you are interested in attending, email us with your interest and we will pass the information along to the University of Delaware to provide them a head count in advance of the presentation.
