Forecast for Sunday, May 19, 2013

A nearly stationary front, that will attempt to come on back as a warm front, will take several days to move away from our region creating an extended period of unsettled conditions. Pop-Up and Scattered Showers and Thunderstorms look as though they will develop across our region throughout the next seven days once some heating gets underway during the daytime hours. Right now no day in particular looks to be a washout and the most widespread activity may hold off until the end of the week. Tuesday and Wednesday look to be warm and humid with highs in the 80's. Wednesday at this vantage point looks to the warmest day of the next seven. A trough bringing severe weather to the Great Plains this weekend will move into our region late in the week.
