May 10th, 2013 Forecast

Tonight, skies will remain partly cloudy with still some lingering showers, mainly early in the evening.  Overnight into early morning Friday, we could see some patchy fog.  Lows remaining fairly high tonight, in the mid- to upper 50's throughout the region.  Winds will be out of the west at around 5 mph.  For Friday, actually a nice looking warm day with dry conditions throughout most of the daylight hours.  By late evening, we'll see the clouds start to roll back in and a few showers and thunderstorms as well.  North and west will see them first, then the city and then south Jersey.  Highs tomorrow in the lower 80's in the metro, around the 80-degree mark to the south and east and the upper 70's to the north and west.  Winds will be from the southwest, providing that warm air, at 5 to 10 mph.

The showers and thunderstorms, unfortunately, stick around into Saturday.  While it won't rain all day, the precipitation should taper off in the evening.  Highs on Saturday still up there in the mid-70's.  For Mothers Day, we'll be drying out, with clear skies and cooler temperatures.  Highs will only get into the upper 60's, so still comfortable for outdoor Mothers Day activities.  Monday, temperatures drop again but we're in for a nice stretch of weather next week.  Highs only in the lower 60's and mostly sunny for the start of the work week.  Tuesday, remaining mostly sunny with highs in the mid-60's.  Finally getting back to near normal on Wednesday, with temperatures in the lower 70's and partly sunny skies and by next Thursday, we'll be back to temperatures nearing 80-degrees and mostly sunny skies.
