This evening will remain partly cloudy with a slight chance at a passing thunderstorm. Lows will drop into the mid- to upper 50's around the city and to the south and east, and into the lower 50's to the north and west. Winds will remain out of the northwest at 5 to 10 mph. Tomorrow looks like the best day of the extended forecast. Mostly sunny skies and not as warm with highs in the mid- to upper 70's throughout the area. Winds will be from the north at 5 to 10 mph.
By Saturday, highs drop into the lower 70's under mostly cloudy skies. By afternoon, showers may start moving into the area, which will increase towards the evening. Sunday will start a period of unsettled weather. Mostly cloudy skies and cooler with a chance of showers. High will only get up into the upper 60's. Monday, high rebound into the lower 70's with still a chance for showers and thunderstorms. The precipitation won't be occurring all day, and usually in timing with the heating of the day. Tuesday, highs are back up near 80-degrees with scattered showers and thunderstorms around. Wednesday, the chance of precipitation drops a little bit, with isolated pockets of showers and highs in the lower 80's. Thursday, still a chance of showers under mostly cloudy skies with highs in the upper 70's.
