May 18th, 2013 Forecast

This evening, clouds will be on the increase throughout the evening ahead of our next weather maker.  Lows will be in the mid- to upper 50's throughout the region.  Winds will be light and variable until morning, then easterly.  Tomorrow, the clouds will stick around for the day, but it will be dry until the late evening.  Showers will only start to move in late, and scattered at that.  Highs tomorrow around normal, in the lower 70's over much of the area, those clouds helping to moderate temperatures.  Winds will be from the southeast at 5 to 10 mph.

Get the umbrella out, because these showers will be around for a while.  Sunday, another mostly cloudy day with scattered showers and highs in the lower 70's.  Monday, much of the same.  Scattered showers and maybe a thunderstorm with high rebounding in the mid-70's.  Tuesday... ditto.  Scattered showers and thunderstorms, otherwise mostly cloudy skies with highs in the upper 70's to near 80-degrees.  Each of those days will feature some precipitation, but I don't think they'll be complete washouts.

Wednesday, partly to mostly cloudy skies with lingering scattered showers.  Highs Wednesday will top out in the lower 80's.  Thursday will still be unsettled, but the precipitation chances start to drop off.  By Friday, it'll start to feel cooler, with partly cloudy skies and still maybe an isolated rain shower.
