Temperatures started out this morning in the mid-60's but with the passage of the cold front, they dipped way down into the 50's, and that's where they've stood for the past few hours. Shower chances will continue tonight, but will slowly taper off into the overnight. Low temperatures will dip way down into the lower to mid-40's and winds will be from the northwest at 10 to 20 mph with gusts into the 30's. Tomorrow, showers will stick around in the morning but by the afternoon, skies will start to clear. Winds will remain on the breezy side out fo the northwest. High's tomorrow in the mid-60 throughout the region, including at the shore.
By Sunday, the weather is looking much better. Skies will be mostly sunny and it'll be warmer as well. Highs bump up into the lower 70's. For Memorial Day, it looks to be perfect for the regional parades and ceremonies, with sunny skies and temperatures not as hot in the past few years, in the mid-70's. Tuesday looks to be mostly sunny during the day but by evening we could be experiencing some showers. Highs Tuesday in the upper 70's. Wednesday and Thursday look very similar, with highs in the mid-80's with times of sun and clouds. Friday look very warm in most areas with brilliant sunshine, with highs in the mid- to upper 80's.
