May 2nd, 2013 Forecast

The weather over the next several days will be rather nice.  When the worst you have to worry about over the next four or five days is some clouds pushing down from the northeast on Friday, you know the forecast is pretty straight forward and simple.

Get out and enjoy it and enjoy life over the next few days.

Today's nice weather gives way to a comfortably cool evening that turns into a crisp night away from the city.  Lows by morning drop into the 30's in the coolest burbs, 40's for everyone else.

Thursday will be mostly sunny, mild away from the coast, with highs ranging from around 60 at the Shore to the low 70's city and points west.  East breezes at 7 to 14 miles per hour will reinforce a cooling effect as one approaches the coastline.  That said, another nice day is on tap for the Delaware Valley.

We have reintroduced the chance of showers for Monday night and Tuesday with the cutoff storm in the Midwest modeled in the GFS to approach and pass south of the region during that timeframe.  The Euro, as of this morning, had the storm suppressed farther south and kept us dry.  Chance does not mean likely but it does mean we have an eye on it just in case.
