May 31st, 2013 Forecast

Day two of our 90-degree heat is in the books already, and we'll have at least one more day before some relief late this weekend.  Tonight, not a whole lot of relief from the heat as low's will fall into the lower 70's to upper 60's with the humidity sticking around.  Skies will be mostly clear with winds out of the southwest at 5 to 10 mph.  Tomorrow will make out heat and official heat wave, with highs in the lower 90's in the metro and to the south and east and around the 90-degree mark to the north and west.  Tomorrow will also be another Code Orange/Ozone Action Day with the humid and hazy conditions tomorrow afternoon.  Winds will remain out of the southwest at 5 to 10 mph.

Saturday has the potential to be another 90-degree day, but temperatures will be down ever-so-slightly. Sunday will see clouds on the increase throughout the day as the cold front finally approaches the region.  By late afternoon and evening Sunday, we could be seeing some showers and thunderstorms.  Highs Sunday in the upper 80's.  Monday looks like another soggy day, with scattered showers and thunderstorms but temperatures down into the lower 80's.  Otherwise, skies will be mostly cloudy.  Tuesday, high temperatures dip into the upper 70's and clearing to partly sunny skies.  Wednesday and Thursday look comfortable with sun and clouds with lows around 60-degrees.

Tomorrow, I'll have the forecast to include the shore.  Looks like a fantastic follow-up to last weekend.
