May 3rd, 2013 Forecast

While other areas are of the country are dealing with snow, we are enjoying very nice temperatures and sunny skies.  Tonight, clouds will be on the increase, but it's nothing to be concerned about.  The clouds will act as an insulator, keeping lows tonight in the lower 50's both around the city and to the south and east.  To the north and west, lows will drop into the upper 40's.  Winds will be light out of the east.  For tomorrow, the overnight clouds will burn off leaving us with mostly sunny skies and a great start to the weekend.  High's tomorrow in the mid- to upper 60's throughout the region.  Winds will remain out of the east at 5 to 10 mph.

Saturday will also be mostly sunny and warm with highs in the upper 60's to near 70-degrees.  We'll reach the 70's on Sunday with partly cloudy skies.  Monday, we will start to see a change in the forecast.  Skies will start out partly sunny, but clouds will increase throughout the day.  By the evening, we'll see cloudy skies and a few scattered showers.  Tuesday and Wednesday both feature mostly cloudy skies with a chance of showers each day.  These next couple days won't be a total wash out, but the springtime showers could feature a heavy downpour.  High's will bump up into the lower 70's.  Thursday, we may see a thundershower mixed in with the rain, and high's will still be in the lower 70's.
