Morning Fog. Some Afternoon Sun. Shower Possible

Dense Fog Advisories are up for many counties in the area this morning.  The fog is due to a frontal boundary draped across the region.  Its trying to move northward but at the same time its dying out and may just dissipate through the day.  The fog should slowly begin to burn off through the morning hours.

Temperatures in the upper 50's to lower 60's as of 7am will gradually warm into the lower to middle 70's for highs.  How high temperatures get will depend on how much sun we see today.  Even when the fog burns off, there will still be considerable cloudiness, but some sunshine will be around in spots through the afternoon.  With a weak disturbance aloft and the daytime heating, this will help to spark a few showers this afternoon and evening across the region.  A southerly flow thanks to high pressure to our east over the ocean, will also help to aid in additional moisture for showers to develop and also make it somewhat humid and muggy.
