Its another chilly start this morning. Radiational cooling was at its max last night and we have varying temperatures as of 7 AM. We ranged from the low 50's in the city to the 40's south. They are in the upper 30's and lower 40's over New Jersey and the northern and western suburbs of the city. But far northern areas saw ideal radiational cooling and there are a few spots actually at or below freezing. Temperatures though will rapidly warm during the morning hours and we'll be left with an absolutely gorgeous day with lots of sunshine, pleasant temperatures and lots of sunshine. Pretty much a five-star Memorial Day weather-wise.
Winds will be lighter today and that will make it feel a bit warmer. Towards evening and tonight, we'll see an increase of clouds as a warm front will be approaching from the west. Highs today will top out in the lower 70's in northern areas and in the mid to upper 70's in the city and points south and east.
